Two Lush reviews in one day. Wow. I love the name of this. Anytime I think of a phoenix I think of Harry Potter...and Dumbledore. I'm such a nerd. I need to read those books over again too. Maybe next year.
Actually, you won’t want to rise again from this bath – you’ll want to just stay on in there gliding on the dream! The phoenix is often quoted as using cinnamon sticks to make her nest. So we’ve topped this ballistic with some, so she has some handy nesting material, should she wish to stick around at yours for a while. Meanwhile, it will also add to the delicate spiciness of your bath.
So it's called Phoenix Rising because you drop it in the water and it rises back up.
It fizzes forever and the Cocoa Butter amongst many other good for your skin ingredients makes the water feel sort of like a bath melt would. The water is really soft and actually a little moisturizing.
As for scent. It smells like apple pie. It's a very warm comforting scent that I really enjoyed. It actually filled the bathroom too.
The water turned a nice pink/purple. I was a little disappointed because I thought there would be more gold glitter in it.
Oh yeah...I almost forgot about the cinnamon sticks. They aren't terrible exciting. Better than nothing I guess.
