Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Smooth N Hold Pudding

I finally ran out of the Carols Daughter product I was using and ran to the store for this. It was only about five bucks but I've seen it cost up to six. I'm generally unlucky when it comes to products by this company. Was this an exception?

ORS claims:

  • Great for natural and relaxed hair styling
  • Non-flaking formula
  • Alcohol-free

Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Smooth-n-Hold Pudding moisturizes, shines, and holds hair. Lightweight and ideal for smoothing hair and holding down ponytails. Alcohol-free formula won't dry out hair or cause flaking.

It was NOT an exception. It makes my hair so DRY. And the day after...I don't even wanna describe it.

It takes forever to dry, and it turns my hair white. (Blech)

The smell is ok. It's like a cucumbery type scent. It is pretty strong and will stick to your hair.

You do get ALOT of product though, which would be a positive if I liked these products.

I should probably stop trying their products. I do remember that the Carrot Cream was amazing for my relaxed hair though, maybe I'll give them one more try.
