Samples Review:Antica Farmacista Prosecco Body Lotion, Crabtree and Evelyn Pear and Pink Magnolia Lotion, Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Shower Gel

I've been pretty lazy with the blogging lately. Mostly I don't have anything to review. Except I have a ton to review, I just don't really feel like doing it. But I shall persevere anyway. Today I just have couple samples. As always these are probably things I would no longer purchase for myself but I figured I could do a review on it anyway. Why not?

Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Shower Gel
I really love the way this stuff smells directly from the bottle. It's not a sample necessarily, it's one of the mini bottles that come in little gift sets. It's been sitting in the bathroom forever so I figured I should use it up. But every time I see the ingredient list....I realize that Bath and Body Works add so much junk to their products. And it's not like all the extra junk make an amazing formula. The gel is very average. No dry skin but no moisture either. The scent is STRONG.  I like a strong scent but for some reason I'm not too crazy about it once it bubbles up. Good thing is a little goes a long way. Overall, not for me...and unfortunately Bath and Body works no longer has anything I want, which is a shame because they have some great sales.

Antica Farmacista Prosecco Body Lotion
This was a deluxe sample from Nordstrom. I love when they have such generous samples. But I really disliked this. First off, it's not that moisturizing. And I really dislike the scent. It kind of smells like the Satsuma (fake tangerine scent) range from The Body Shop with something very unpleasant added in that I can't exactly put my finger on. And the scent lasts. As for ingredients they are very cheap...but this lotion costs $25 if you purchase it full price. Overall, I was very underwhelmed and it's not a brand I'll ever be purchasing from.

Crabtree and Evelyn Pear and Pink Magnolia Body Lotion

When I see this brand I think "stuffy old lady brand". I was curious about this as I don't think I've ever used anything "pear" scented.  I could be wrong though. Anyway, the scent of this was very floral and gave me an instant headache. After a couple minutes it dissipated and left a more muted version of the scent on my skin. It wasn't very moisturizing. And it's full of cheap ingredients. The full size of this is $24.00. Not something I would ever purchase or recommend to anyone.

That's all for today!
