Capri Blue Paris Candle Review

I'm running very low on candles but with all the candle sales going on- I managed to buy a few more to bulk up my collection. Mainly from Harlem Candles because they are one of my favorite candle brands. But I still have a few more from Capri Blue so I'm gonna go ahead and burn right through them.

Capri Blue claims:
So many feels - This Paris Jar is vibrant, sweet and fresh. Enjoy a break from the routine with an energizing ginger fragrance paired with white tea, vanilla, and fresh violets.

This candle does not smell anything like they describe it. I don't get ginger, white tea, vanilla, or violets. I'll tell you what this candle smells like to me...it smells like Country Time Pink Lemonade Powder, with a touch of sweetness, and fresh baked bread. What's odd is the notes change for the same candle scent depending on the jar size according to their website...one jar size lists raspberry and I guess that's where I am getting the powdered lemonade scent. Another get's specific with what type of vanilla it's supposed to be. So odd.

At first the bread notes were amazing to me, I have never smelled that in a candle. As I have burned down the candle I have come to kinda hate that note. It's all I smell now is sweet bread that is just off to my nose. It just smells worse and worse with each burn.

I like the jar size and love that it comes in a tin. They are just easier to recycle for me than glass. Capri Blue candles are a mix of paraffin and soy and they burn pretty cleanly as long as you take care to trim the wick.

Overall, I think this is my least favorite Capri Blue candle. I would not buy this scent again...nor would I recommend it.
