Estee Lauder Turbo Lash Night Revitalizing Serum Lash+Brow Review

I definitely could have done this review about a month ago...

I was so excited for this. I just knew it was going to give me longer and thicker and oh so fluttery lashes. I used the mascara and I really liked that- so what could go wrong?

Estes Lauder claims:

Treat your eyelashes and eyebrows to a turbo care while you sleep.

This powerful yet gentle care serum gives eyelashes and eyebrows a stronger, nourished and well-groomed feeling.

The serum contains a thickening complex of 16 amino acids, rice protein, panthenol and hyaluronic acid for fuller, thicker-looking eyelashes and eyebrows.

The eyelashes and eyebrows look thicker, fuller and healthy. Your revitalized eyelashes are ready to reach the next level with Turbo Lash Mascara.

This makes big claims and I think the first week or two it was fine. It has a really thin brush applicator. Nothing special. Comes out al little at a time. Packaging is ok. It's just a white plastic tube. Nice than most drugstore- but not that nice.

At some point I realized this was causing me to have really irritated eyes. Discoloration and my eyes would hurt. I wasn't getting it into my eyes- but the serum does go pretty close to your eyes. It took me a minute to figure out it was this. I thought my eyes were having some sort of reaction to my shadow? Maybe my new flaky, glittery, multi-chrome shadows were irritating my eyes? But it was this.

It took me a few weeks to realize it was this. So I would stop using it and give it another go a few weeks or a couple day later.

At one point I did notice a millimeter or two of growth. But the eye irritation it gives me is just not worth it and now I'm afraid to use it again. So into the trash it will go. It was a colossal waste of money at $43.00 (Pretty sure I paid less!) . I should probably write the company...

Could be better for growing eyebrows but I don't use it for that and rather not get it all over my pillows when I sleep.

Overall, not for me. I would only purchase the mascara iteration of this.
