We are almost into candle season and I've just realized this is my only "Everyday" candle. I have a few more but I consider them more luxury (price) and will only light on the weekends so I need to go ahead and start stocking back up on some candles. This will probably be my last Voluspa for awhile-I want to focus on trying more new brands. I always say that and then end up with more, I can't resist a sale.

Nor could I resist the idea of a refill. Not all glass gets recycled...and I have a ton of saved glass candle jars so this seems to be the way to go. I'm hoping more brands follow suite. I want to see more like this, especially from huge brands like Bath and Body Works. And when you are done refilling the candle- chuck the packaging in the recycle and keep it moving.
I always say I like a woody scent- but most of the time I don't really unless it has an element of sweet to it. This is nothing like I expected. Although I must say- I have no idea what moso bamboo should smell like. I have had a few cypress candles and still can't really describe the scent. But this doesn't smell anything like what I imagine from the description. It really smells like a Holiday candle. a bit of holiday spice and pine like. Reminds of a craft store and I hate the smell of craft stores.
I'm not really a fan. It's mostly just very forgettable.
It does have throw though. Although it's very light. I can still detect it. Like most of Volupsa candles it's not gong to be a powerhouse candle. I don't imagine it would be great in a large space.
Other than that, I love that it's coconut wax. It always burns very cleanly and evenly. No sooting or smoking.
I'm not into the scent so it's not a repurchase for me..but they do still have a ton more scents I am interested in.
