Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes Blackest Black Mascara Review

Every news report I am seeing lately has been on the tariffs. Everything is going up and up. I'm actually trying to figure out if I should buy an Instant Pot. Before the price rises. But I really don't need one....I've had my own apartment for awhile now and only ever used it to cook beans. So I'm leaning toward saving my money and using the money to buy a bread cloche. But then again, I also don't want to buy one of those until I'm ready to really dive into baking bread. Dilemmas.

Anyway..Great Lash.

Maybelline claims:

Get lots of volume with this no clump, no mess mascara.

Easy, corner-to-corner volume. The heart-shaped brush reaches lashes to multiply impact. Lengthen and condition lashes with our lash-doubling formula. The hypoallergenic formula is ophthalmologist tested and safe for contact lens wearers. See why there's been billions of Great Lashes since 1971.

Made in the USA

I've forgotten most of Great Lashes history...but it as basically the very first mascara I ever bought. I think back then I only paid around two or so dollars. These days it's nowhere near as cheap and you can find better prices in the drugstore. But at least this is an improvement from the OG.

I never liked Great Last original much. It doesn't lengthen, thicken, nor wear well. Or at the original version didn't. And it was way too wet. This version is definitely an improvement. It's not as wet so it does build skinny but longer lashes. And it seems to look the same at the end of the day as it did at the start of the day.

The packaging doesn't feel very lux. But it's drugstore and at the end of the day, they all end up in the same place.

Also worth mentioning I don't really like applying it. Something about the small brush. Or maybe it's the packaging. It just feels off to apply but I typically do like the end result. Could use way more volume but it's fine for everyday. Not too dramatic. Although when it comes to mascara I tend to want all the drama!

The brush is very unique. I like the brush a million times better than the one in the original. But I feel it's a little too small. I think it should be bigger.

Looks better in person..
