I've got a few more samples to get through...all skincare so here we are. Because what else is there to do when the roads are visibly icy?
Biologique Recherche Creme Collagène
This like the other creme I tried smells like rotten shrimp. Never have I ever come across a face cream that smells so foul. I can't find this on their site so I'm thinking maybe it's discontinued? It's supposed to stimulate collagen production. I can't say I saw a difference...but I don't think you can get real results from a sample even though the sample is very generous. I was able to use it across multiple days- not that I was happy about that because of the scent. I don't see anything special in the ingredients but I also didn't do a deep dive and won't because I would never purchase it based on the scent.

Biologique Masque Vivant Purifying Face Masque
Unlike most of the other products from this brand- I found a lot of reviews and a lot of love for this masque. I love a good mask and haven't have one in quite awhile so I was pretty excited for it. It's a given- much like everything else by the brand- it stinks. It smells like soy sauce and fish sauce mixed together. It has a thick texture- much like a teriyaki sauce. It reminds me of food so much. So yes it stinks. And the stench sticks around even after rinsing.

Most people seem to use this after travel or just when they have a bit of problem skin- texture, heat bumps, or just generally clogged skin. It did really seem to de-oil my skin and my skin seemed a little smoother and radiant the next day. It definitely gives a matte appearance so I can see someone with super oily skin really liking it. I was able to get two uses out of my sample size. I would say that it worked. But there are less stinky options that are way more affordable and can do the same thing. Not a repurchase for me at this time, but maybe later on I might be inclined to give it a try and really see what the "yeast extract" can do with long term use. I'm not entirely writing it off but I'm not adding it to my must have list either.
