Sally Hansen Hard As Nails in Clear

Yes, I even review something as borig as nail treatments. This particular one has been around for ages.

It claims:

The Original Nail Clinic in a Bottle
Helps prevent chipping, splitting and cracking.
Gives nails a hard, smooth, chip-resistant surface that helps strengthen and support nails.
Nail edges are sealed for added protection.
Powerful long-lasing protection to help nails grow.
Salon Tested - Dermatologist Tested.

It comes in a very medical lookig boring bottle. Nothing exciting there and it's ridiculously cheap. You can use it as a top coat OR base coat. Not both or your nail polish will peel right off. For me it doesn't do much to strengthen my nails and what little strength I do get goes away pretty much right after I take it off.

As for a base coat it does protect from yellowing but doesn't do much to make the nail color adhere to nails. And as a top coat all I can say is that it is better than nothing.

The ingredients...well...take a look for yourself...

Ingredients:
Ethyl Acetate, Butyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Phthalic Anhydride/Trimellitic Anhydride/Glycols Copolymer, Stearalkonium Hectorite, Camphor, Citric Acid, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate. MAY CONTAIN: Titanium Dioxide, Red 6 Lake, Red 7 Lake, Yellow 5 Lake.

All in all, I don't really reccommend it.
