The final Nubian Heritage Soap. And it's orange. Yippee. My favorite Color.
Nubian Heritage says:
Restorative, Revitalizing, Anti-AgingFirst cultivated in the 7th century for medicinal use and traceable to ancient Egyptian papyruses, Carrot Seed is valued in skincare for its high vitamin and beta carotene content. The Pomegranate, one of the oldest known fruits, is a revered symbol of health, fertility and eternal life. Also valued as a medicinal plant, the Pomegranate was used in ancient Persia to treat external skin disease.Nutrient-rich Carrot Seed Oil, ground Pomegranate and Cranberry seeds are blended into our moisturizing Carrot & Pomegranate Shea Butter-based soap. Vitamins A, E and F, minerals, moisturizers and anti-inflammatory Calendula extract feed the skin, clear pores, improve skin tone and help rejuvenate mature and dull skin. Calendula extract's powerful anti-inflammatory properties help subdue and alleviate skin irritation.
I ordered this off iherb.com only to find it in my beauty supply store. But that's Ok. It was like two dollars and some change which is a great price for an all natural soap.
But I was very disapointed in the floral scent. It's the same scent as the Olive Butter and the Indian Hemp soap. I was expecting something more like Carrot or Pomegranate. The lather is orange tinted so be careful with light colored wash cloths. The lather is great. It cleans well. Just as the others the scent does not linger. And it exfoliates just average. It's exfoliates the same as the black seed one. This one however is not as moisturizing and I do need lotion afterwards. Love this on my face though.
Ingredients:
100% Vegetable Oils: Palm Oil and/or Coconut Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Organic Shea Butter, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Seed Oil, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Oil, Punica Granatum Extract, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil, Calendula, Mineral Pigment or Vegetable Color, Natural Fragrance and/or Essential Oil
As always the ingredients recieve an A+. I love the company and remember when you buy you are supporting a black owned business. I just couldn't get past the scent disappointment.
