Clarisonic Deep Pore Cleansing Brush Head

I have officially had my Clarisonic for over a year! I don't use it as faithfully as I thought- because those brush heads are expensive. I use it maybe once, sometimes twice a week. I figure the least often I use it, the less I will have to replace it. This brush costs $27 dollars- I paid much less because I had a coupon code. I believe I paid around $14 for it.

Clarisonic claims:
Recommended for all skin types with enlarged pores, the Clarisonic Deep Pore Brush Head is engineered with graduated dual-action bristles to flush and dislodge oil and debris that clogs pores. Compatible with all Clarisonic facial cleansing devices.

I ordered this straight off the Clarisonic website...and it took forever to receive, it took well over a month! But it is important to order these off an authorized site because there are fakes floating around.

Anyway, I popped off the sensitive skin brush head that came with the Clarisonic and popped this one on. I figured it was time to replace it when it seemed the brush head was breaking me out....I had it on for about 5-6 months when I decided to replace it with this one.

The actual look of the brush was kind of weird. Straight out the box it almost looked used. The bristles weren't uniform like you would except a new brush head to be....it was weird. I almost considered writing the company but after a google search I saw others had brush heads with the same look.

The first thing I noticed was that I cannot use it on the 2nd speed. It feels extremely uncomfortable on the higher speed so I only use it on low speed. It cleans just as effectively as the sensitive skin one..as far as the "pore cleansing" I do notice my pores don't seem as huge after I use it. Is the difference enough to shell out the cash on a Clarisonic AND this brush head? Probably not.

It does seem to keep my oily skin at bay on the days I use this which is a good thing. I do like it on the days I use it...I just don't think it's worth the price. I will continue to use it every couple days as I think it's way to harsh to use on a daily basis for my skin and like I said, I can save money that way!

Would I purchase again? Nah. I want to try out some of the different brush heads- it is disappointing that the newer brushes are about the same price as what other companies charge for their entire cleansing system.

Don't get sucked into the hype!
