MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara Review

I'm reviewing this as the last minute- I'm pretty sure this is about empty and ready for the trash so it will probably be gone by the end of the week. I'm kinda happy about that because I don't really like it and I'm so ready to move on from it. And I had such high expectations.

MAC claims:

A carbon black mascara with a large molded brush that creates extreme volume and curl.

3D VOLUME, DRAMATIC, SUPER BLACK

M·A·C's lightweight whipped carbon black formula adds dense volume, extends length and creates curl, while conditioning for softness and flexibility. The gigantic moulded brush stores the optimal amount of mascara in three reservoirs that allow for the maximum amount of mascara with each stroke, while keeping the lashes from clumping together. The tip of the brush allows for precision in accentuating lower lashes and small hairs at the corners of the eye. The final result: extreme dimension that won't smudge, clump or flake.

With a name like that, it really set my expectations high. I was expecting all the drama with length and volume. But it didn't deliver. My lashes just looked sad with this on. It feels like it takes forever to apply and doesn't really build well on itself. Letting it dry out slightly improves it. But not enough.

I don't notice it flaking off or looking too different at the end of the day. But that's probably because it doesn't provide much drama at the beginning of the day.

The brush is one of the plastic bristled ones which have never ever been my favorite. I prefer the traditional brushes. But this one is a unique shape. Lots of really short bristles...and even the tip of the brush has bristles so you can use it to separate the lashes more. I still don't really like the brush that much through.

The tube itself has a unique shape. It's on the smaller side. It makes me wonder if I somehow bought a mini?

I don't think I did though.

Overall, not something I would buy again.

See, no lashes!
