Aveda claims:
I like Aveda- mostly because most of their products don't use silicones. I try to avoid silicones- except in heat protectants because I feel like they coat the hair and are so hard to get off. Which leads to my ends drying out.
I think this mostly shines when I go to blow out and straighten my hair. It helps with the detangling process a little and makes my hair have a bit of extra softness to it when blown out and straightened.
It's also really light weight and won't weigh down my hair, even after applying it a few days in a row.
As for a wash and go, I like that it adds a hint of moisture. But it won't last over multiple days. Mostly it depends on what I am putting on top of it- the gel I'm using now tends to dry my hair out, this counteracts it slightly.
I wouldn't say it enhances curls or controls frizz in my natural texture.
I like that it has some heat protectant to it.
And I really like the smell. Sometimes It basically smells like Almond extract. But it won't linger or overpower. You basically smell it when you apply and then it dissipates.
