The Body Shop Carrot Moisture Cream

I don't really have much experience with facial moisturizers. My skin is usually oily and when I finally did start to moisturize I just used Shea Butter which by the way is excellent. But when I went to The Body Shop outlet I saw this on sale for four euros (which is about five or six dollars) and I just threw it in the basket. Carrots are supposed to be good for the face anyway.

The Body Shop says:
It’s back! You will be rabbiting on about this rich daily moisture cream that leaves the skin feeling beautifully soft and smooth. An old favourite from The Body Shop®, originally launched in 1980 - now improved with added Community Trade sesame oil and Community Trade beeswax!!!
Carrot oil -Helps to revive and condition the skin. Contains beta carotene, a natural source of antioxidant vitamin A that helps protect the skin against damaging environmental elements, such as the sun, pollution and cigarette smoke.
Organic beeswax -Moisturizes and helps to condition dry skin, especially on your lips and around the fingernail beds. Acts as a barrier that helps to seal in moisture. Helps to keep product texture consistent when used over time. Plays a part in protecting and preserving the forest as well as providing necessary income for the beekeepers, an increasing number of which are now women.
Sweet almond oil - Provides essential fatty acids that help to repair the skin's moisture barrier, thus helping to restore moisture, smoothness and suppleness.
Sunflower Seed Oil -Moisturizes and helps to soften the skin.

So let's talk about the scent. I really can't stand the scent. It's like the Vitamin E line. Kind of a rose type of scent. You might want to smell it for yourself though. It's a thick orange cream in a little orange tub. I like the packaging I think it's cute. The actual product is quite nice too. It's thick and moisturizing although I can feel the beeswax in it. Surprisingly it doesn't clog my pores or cause any breakout. It's not the type of cream that will sink into your skin, it kind of stays there and just feels super hydrating.
