I took it old school and bought some curl activation AKA jheri curl juice!
I had seen someone using it on youtube, and when I was in the store and saw that is was only around three bucks....I picked it up. It can't hurt to try it after all!

I was surprised to find that this stuff smells pretty nice. I say suprised because sometimes the older products smell...outdated! This one is almost like a floral, gentle, aloe scent. It's light and doesn't linger. So it's ok in my book...
The actual product is somewhere between a gel and a serum. It easier to distribute and all that jazz.
The problem is, it doesn't do much to activate any curls. My hair looks pretty much the same after if not a bit frizzer.
The good news though is that it adds a little moisture and makes detangling a breeze. And it doesn't give you that wet look, which I kinda wanted!

The ingredients aren't that great though and one would probably be better off just spritzing glycerin and water in the hair.
Remember hair is flammable, I feel like jheri curl product make the hair even more flammable....just sayin'.
care free curl absolutely does NOT smell nice. I repeat it does not smell nice!!!!
