Tomato Chevre Scramble

Recipe time!

For some reason I almost didn't make this but in the end I was glad I did. I mostly eat eggs....one way. Scrambled in butter with pepper, salt,and turmeric added. I'm a very simple girl when it comes to eggs.

The reason I almost skipped making this is because I'm not the biggest fan of goat cheese. But I'm learning it really depends on how fresh it is. My local grocery store sources goat cheese made only twenty minutes from them. And it was fresh. The fresher the better, only once you open it don't let it sit around too long! I'm still not the biggest fan of goat cheese but it's growing on me.

I made quite a few omelets trying to use up the basil I had. I hate wasting fresh herbs-plus they tend to be very expensive so I made these multiple mornings in a row.

It was very good. Surprisingly good. I really should add tomatoes every time I make eggs. Great way to get extra veggies in!
