I've had this Shea Butter for quite awhile. I used to make little mixes and concoctions regularly. I think I've just gotten lazy. So there are sometimes weeks in between making up my own blend. I love Shea Butter though and will always have some on hand. It's the ultimate anti-aging moisturizer that actually seems to heal dry skin..unlike a lot of moisturizers on the market.

This is "raw" and "refined" shea. Doesn't really make sense. Mainly it's refined. And I don't like refined Shea Butter. This lacks the nutty and smoky scent I've come to appreciate in shea. It just smells very processed. Kinda has a waxy scent to it.
It's not gritty at all. It's actually pretty smooth. The texture is OK. It's not the worst machine processed Shea. But it's just not as great as the quality stuff you can buy. And I also don't think it's fairly traded.
As with most other Shea, it does feel very hydrating. And it's great for the skin, hair, cuticles, anywhere that needs TLC.
It does come with a little plastic spatula. Kinda pointless because it's not strong enough to really scoop the Shea.
Overall, it's OK. I wouldn't buy it again. I probably won't need to as this seems to be lasting me absolutely forever though.
