I have mostly been sitting around worrying but that's not healthy. I just need to change my mind set and believe that everything is going to be OK. I'm a work in progress. In the meantime, I will get back to a post or two. I think this post might be just in time.
My Mom is a Smokie Norful song and I feel like she wore certain songs of his out when I was a kid.
Starting with No Greater Love. Honestly I forget about this song or mistake it for a Kirk Franklin song. But once I start listening I really start liking it all over again. The part where he starts singing "His name is Jesus, and he loves me, and I know this..." I just really start getting into the song. It's beautiful.
Of course, my favorite Smoky Norful song is I Need You Now. This song can reduce me to tears. I'm definitely getting the feels with this song right now.
I think I'll probably listen to gospel songs the rest of the night....
