Nubian Heritage Body Butter Soap Mango, Shea, & Cocoa Butter with Honey and Cornmeal

Yet another Nubian Heritage Soap. When is it gonna stop? I got this for $2.50 at the Beauty Supply Store and I am not impressed.

It's Claims:
Nubian Heritage's Body Butter Soap is a delicate combination of pure Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and Mango Butter blended with Honey & Cornmeal, organic herbs and essential oil extracts. The Cocoa Butter naturally seals is moisture without clogging pores, while the Shea Butter and Mango Butter heal and improve the elasticity of damaged skin. This mild fusion of pure vegetable butters, essential oils, and organic herbs cleanse the skin of superficial impurities, allowing pores to breathe freely while inducing healthy new skin cell growth that is soft and vibrant.

So after reading that , I just knew I was ready for some of the best soap ever. I just knew my skin was gonna be soft. But nope. My skin was ASHY. WHITE. And I had dry patches on my legs and stomach. Not a good look. And the smell. Where is the smell? Not in the soap. I mean as terrible as it worked it could at least have a pleasent scent. And the corn meal. Why are you there cornmeal? It does nothing for my skin.

What baffles me is the great ingredients. How could shea, mango, and cocoa butter leave me so ashy?
I mean, look at the ingredients. All excellent.

Ingredients:
Mango butter, cocoa butter, african shea butter, pure honey, cornmeal, palm kernel oil, vegetable glycerin, vitamin E, vitamin C, soaps of coconut and palm, iron oxides.

In conclusion, I don't recommend this particular soap. But there are two others by Nubian that I can recommend. (Black and Raw Shea Butter)
