Kneipp Goodbye Stress Watermint and Rosemary Bath Essence Review

I've been a bit less stressed lately so I don't know exactly how it works for stress. But baths are by natures already stress relieving. I figured I would use it anyway rather than saving it for times of stress because I need to use my collection in the next month or so.

Kneipp claims:

  • Watermint, rosemary.
  • Transforms stress into positive energy*.

Your Kneipp® moment for a clear head: Feel how your tension dissolves into the air with the Kneipp® bath essence Goodbye stress. The clarifying and refreshing fragrance with natural rosemary essential oil has been proven to transform stress into positive energy*.

We will start with the scent- it smells really nice. Not necessarily like Rosemary. I don't know what Watermint smells like. But this has a very cologne/body spray type scent. It's smells really nice and really fills up the bathroom. I did use the whole bottle- per the instructions you can just use half to make it stretch. I did really enjoy the scent but I don't think I would purchase it again.

It colors the water a pretty blue color and makes minor bubbles. I don't think it is meant to bubble up though so that's OK. I really did enjoy the color of the water.

It didn't really dry my skin...and didn't add moisture either.

Ingredients are fine. It has a few essential oils and reminds me of how Lush formulates but at a much more affordable price.

Ingredients:

Polysorbate 20, Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Parfum (Fragrance), Mentha Aquatica Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Camphor, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Linalool, Limonene, Benzyl Alcohol, Geraniol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Salicylate, Coumarin, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Tocopherol, CI 42051, CI 47005.

It was nice- I enjoyed it but there are other scents I enjoy more from the brand so it wouldn't be one I repurchase.

Kneipp Beauty Secret Bath Oil Review

Ever since I used and reviewed the Kneipp Eucalyptus Bath salts and LOVED them (use them in a reasonable time though, the scent definitely fades) I wanted to get my hands on more of their stuff. I needed to place an order from Amazon and I wanted free shipping so I added the bath gift set to the cart.  It was the My Bath, My Moment set that comes with 10 mini bath products. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised to see they are mini glass bottles. I think the set was a bargain.

Kneipp claims:

Kneipp care oil bath beauty secret. Discover noticeably smooth, supple skin with the Kneipp care oil bath beauty secret. The combination of precious, natural oils has an intensively moisturising effect and thus reduces skin tension for an improved skin feeling. Let yourself be pampered by the exquisite care formula and enjoy the luxurious bathing pleasure that has been proven to work. * *An independent study confirms the effectiveness of the care oil bath beauty secret. After three weeks of use, all subjects agree that the care oil bath beauty secret reduces both tension feelings of the skin and creates a soft, supple skin feeling. 98% of subjects agree that the care oil bath beauty secret balances moisture losses of the skin and leaves skin feeling smooth, even Independent study, 3 weeks application, 43 subjects.

I think this might be discontinued but I really hope not because I love this stuff! The mini is supposed to be good for 1-2 baths. At first I was going to use it for two baths, then I just decided to go for maximum luxury and use the whole bottle 😁.

I'll start with the scent which was so intoxicatingly great! I don't know how to describe it though...except to say it is the perfect relaxing, intoxicating bath scent. It's what the Dove  bath scents try to be, but kinda fail miserably at. It kinda reminds me of a the commercial Shea scent. I think of The Body Shop Shea Line but I think this is nicer.  I also feel like it might have Sandalwood in it, which can be hit and miss. I love it in here though. With the hot water it just amplifies and makes the whole bathroom smell amazing. It smells way more expensive than it is. Really a beautiful scent.

It didn't really add any color or bubbles to the water. It was literally like adding an oil that has something to make it disperse in the water rather than sit on top. Once you get out the bath it sticks to your skin and makes your skin super moisturized and soft without  feeling greasy. I LOVED the after effects of the bath.

I like the ingredients...they are mostly recognizable. Much cleaner ingredients than most bubble baths that you might get in the drugstore.

Ingredients:

Olus (Vegetable) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Parfum (Fragrance), PEG-40 Sorbitan Peroleate, Sclerocarya Birrea (Marula) Seed Oil, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Citrus Limon Peel Oil, Citrus Antium Dulcc is (Orange) Peel Oil, Pogostemon Cablin Oil, Linalool, Limonene, Coumarin, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Tocopherol.

Overall, I loved it. I can't believe I haven't tried more from the brand. I definitely need to add them to the rotation more. Highly recommend.

Kneipp Refreshing Eucalyptus Mineral Bath Salt Review

I've heard people rave about these bath salts for years and for some reason I just never picked them up. But I saw them in the store and realized I have no bath salts, bubble baths, bath bombs...nada! So I decided to pick this up.

Kneipp claims:

  • Made with refreshing Eucalyptus and pure mineral salt
  • Good for respiratory wellness

With a high concentration of pure Eucalyptus essential oil, this mineral bath salt makes the perfect antidote to feeling under the weather. Known for its soothing respiratory properties, the crisp scent of Eucalyptus helps clear the mind and revive the body, so you’ll feel better with every soak. Pair with our Eucalyptus or Lavender Bath Oil to add the benefits of color therapy and an intensified aromatherapy experience.

Kneipp Mineral Bath Salts

Our mineral bath salts are made with hand-processed, all-natural thermal spring salt sourced from a 250-million-year-old ocean hidden 1500 feet below the earth’s surface. This ancient thermal brine is completely uncontaminated by pollutants and environmental stressors.  Exclusively sourced and packed with trace elements and minerals such as magnesium, calcium, and zinc, our salts work to benefit and intensely smooth your skin.

I love Eucalyptus anything really. It has so many uses from clearing up congestion, relieving sore throat, soothing sore muscles, boosting immune system and on and on. It's one of my must have oils. When I opened this, I was not prepared for the Eucalyptus hit. It's pure Eucalyptus....like they used the Essential Oil and I love that. Nothing artificial about this scent.

I also really love how strong the scent stays diluted in the bath tub too! I can smell it drifting throughout the entire floor when I use it.

It does color the water and creates a small amount of bubbles which I was a little surprised to see. Almost all other bath salts I have used usually just make flat non-colored water.

It is very relaxing and invigorating at the same time. It just makes you feel really refreshed. And I think it counts as aromatherapy. I love the Eucalyptus scent for immune boosting. I really think it just gives you a little boost.

I love that the ingredient list is so small and pretty simple.

Ingredients:

Sodium Chloride, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Sodium Methyl Oleoyl Taurate, Sodium Carbonate, Polysorbate 20, Limonene

Overall, if you love Eucalyptus and like salt baths, this is one you should try!

Lush Jingle Bells Bath Bomb Review

It's crazy to think I hauled all that stuff from Lush and this and another one were the only two bath bombs I have left. I like to use the bath bombs first though since the bath bombs lose their fizz and scent quickest. It's best to use them as fresh as possible. Within 6 months is best..or even sooner.

Anyway, this is a cute little bath bomb. It actually "jingles" due to the bath salts in the middle.

Lush claims:

Lie back and soak in the colourful red and blue swirls and softening water of this Christmas bath bomb. Orange oil is an instant refresher.

A grounding limited-edition bath bomb made with the beloved scent of Milky Bar: a gentle orange-patchouli aroma that'll leave you feeling soothed.

Looking for the perfect bath bomb to get you grounded after holiday chaos dies down? Maybe this sweet orange-patchouli fizzer will ring your bell. It's filled with our beloved Milky Bar scent and a touch of softening sea salt, while its snowy-white, star-studded exterior comes topped with a pretty pink bow. So give yourself the gift of relaxation this season and give Jingle Bells a ring.

It looks like a pretty plain bath bomb. But then when you put it in the bath you get red/pink foam and white, it does look quite Christmas-y. Then blue comes out of nowhere. And it looks a little patriotic. But the colors mix and you are left with purple. I kinda wish they did green because those colors would have made more sense. It was a a cute show regardless.

When I first got it, it smelled familiar but I couldn't place the scent. After putting it in the bath, I finally got it. It smells like a laundry/clean cotton/linen fragrance. It reminds me a a Yankee Candle. Doesn't smell like a "Lush" scent. But apparently the scent has been around before Lush became Lush. It was a scent that was in the Cosmetics to Go brand that led to Lush. And in the last couple of years it's been brought back in the Milky Bath (Bar?) soap and bath bomb. I almost bought it over the summer but it was kicked out my cart in favor of some other stuff.

All that to say..I'm not a fan of the scent. It was pretty strong, filled the whole bathroom , felt like it stuck to my skin. But laundry scents for bath and beauty stuff isn't for me. Felt like I should throw my dirty clothes in it the whole time.

I didn't know it was that scent or else I might not have gotten it, I was thrown off by the patchouli/orange essential oil additional. It smells nothing like either of those oils. Not even a tiny bit. If you want something that is Patchouli Orange, go for Karma soap.

It didn't dry my skin, in fact my skin felt decently soft.

Ingredients are ...eh. Feel like the oils are there for show and not scent. I like the addition of salt. Salt baths are nice.

Ingredients:

Baking Soda, Citric Acid, Coarse Sea Salt, Rice Starch, Titanium Dioxide, Perfume, Brazilian Orange Oil,  Patchouli Oil, Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, Cocoamidapropyl Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Amyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Salicylate, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal,Hydroxycitronellol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour

Overall, I'm not a fan and I'm happy I picked it up for half off. If you like linen, laundry, scents it might be worth trying if Lush bring it out again next Christmas.

DIY Bath Salts

I had an amazing week and an amazing weekend. I went out of my birthday and turned up...which means my bodywas hurting the next day. Not as bad as last year surprisingly. It just kind of feels like I've done about 200 squats...I like the dance floor though. If i don't do a few simple things it can last as long as a week. The best thing I've found is a bath with epsom salts or sea salts.

Or dead sea salts.

And you can easily buy them, but recently I've been trying to DIY it myself. Which is much more cost effective. And more fun because you can control the scent you make!

It's easy. I just picked up dead sea salts in my local drugstore. Pour them in a old container, you can make as little or as much as you want.

Then I add a little carrier oil. You can use whatever you like. I've been using grapeseed because that's what I have. I really like it because it's not super oily. But you can use Coconut/Avocado/ Olive, or anything you want.

Then just add whatever Essential Oils you like. Last time I used a Lavender Sage Essential oil blend from Eden's Garden. I loved that! This time around I used Eucalyptus, Lavender, and Rosemary. I used a total of 20 drops.  But it's best to do a little research on the proper dilution because all oils are different.

Shake, Shake, Shake!

And let it sit for a little while. That usually helps the oils really blend.  Today I used what I made immediately. I didn't have time to let it sit.

You can probably add coloring to it, as well as dried flowers to make it fancy. But so far I'm keeping it plain.

And that's all! Easy and cost-effective!

Zum Tub Turmeric Epsom and Sea Salt Bath Review

Ahhhh....bath salts.I feel relaxed just thinking about them.  I believe this is the fifth scent I am reviewing from the brand. And definitely the most unique. Cause who puts Turmeric in their bath?

Zum claims:
Salt your rim and take a dip in this moisturizing drink. Zum Tub's shea butter infusion transforms a mix of sea salt crystals and Epsom salts into a submersible bathrodisiac. Your skin goes glug glug and your mind goes unplugged.

I love turmeric. It's an amazing little spice that is great in cooking because it has so many health benefits. I even make "golden" milk which is great for it's anti-inflammatory benefits as well as being pain relieving. I also like to put in it my face masks. It's magical stuff. However it was kind of strange to see it in a bath product. Curiosity got the best of me and I ended up ordering it!

I was most curious about the smell. It smells kind of medicinal or like Noxzema. They don't list out what oils are in it but I'm 100 percent sure it has Camphor in it. I'm not sure what else.

I like the scent. It's very invigorating and refreshing.

The first thing I noticed was how cool it makes the bathwater seem. It makes your skin feel cool and tingly. And it works amazing at helping to relieve sore muscles and aches and pains.

I messed up my ankle a little bit with moving and it had really been bothering me for a few days. Took a bath with this and my ankles felt brand new for at least 8 or so hours. The discomfort came back (it wasn't really painful anymore) and then I went ahead and rubbed it down with frankincense and shea butter which had my ankle back to regular business after about a day and a half. This really did help though.

I think this may have been the best epsom salt combination I've tried when it comes to aches and pains and sore muscles. I can't recommend it enough.

The salts themselves look like any other Zum bath salts. I kind of expected them to look a bit yellow.

Ingredients:
sea salt, magnesium sulfate (epsom salt), fragrance (essential oils), limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, and curcuma longa (turmeric).

I think this is one that's worth trying out and may possible be a must have. The only thing is that it can be pricey. The tub costs about $11-$12 for the jar. And if I'm being generous, I get about 3-4 baths out of it. I'm thinking a DIY may be the way to go, to save money. If I ever get my hands on some Camphor Oil, I'm going to give it a try.

For now, I'll hoard the last little bit I do have for when pain strikes again!

Dr. Teal's Detox Epsom Salts Detoxify and Energize with Ginger and Clay

I've had an exhausting last couple of weeks..including a short trip back to the states. Which is why I haven't been blogging. I planned to blog when I got back but I was just plain exhausted....I don't think I had ever been so tired in my life. But I made it to my three day weekend which I'm just going to spend relaxing and recovering. One of the first things I did to recharge my spirit and bodywas take a long bath.

Dr. Teals claims:
r Teal’s® Soaking Solution combines Pure Epsom Salt which has long been known to revitalize tired, achy muscles, with luxurious essential oils to soothe the senses and help provide relief from stress. Ginger and Clay help to cleanse away your body’s impurities while helping you feel more energized.

This is the second bag from this brand that I have tried. The first was the one with black salt. These types of baths are super easy to make yourself but nothing beats the convenience of just pouring a bag of pre-mixed salts in the bath. I have experimented with pouring different clays in the bath. I'm never sure they have done anything for me, but I like the idea of detoxing. Ginger is a super easy thing to add to the bath, just slice some ginger and soak with it in the warm water- I haven't tried it but I'm thinking I will!

I forgot to take a picture of the actual salt but it's super bright, white, uniform salt crystals. I didn't have any problem with them dissolving either.

The smell was like a very mild ginger soda. Not my favorite scent in the world but it wasn't headache inducing or too strong like the other one I tried. I didn't mind the scent.

As for results..it was OK. I don't think it worked to refresh my muscles as much as the other bag I had. It was alright though. Can't say I felt particularly energized after using it either.

Overall, it was alright. I don't think it's a must have or a must try. I will keep trying the different bags from the brand because I'm sure I will find at least one I love in the variety they have.

Ingredients:
Magnesium Sulfate (epsom Salt), Fragrance, Sodium Bicarbonate, Bentonite (clay), Zingiber Officinale (ginger) Root Oil, Citrus Limon (lemon) Peel Oil, Limonene.

What's your favorite bag that the brand offers? Do you have any DIY Bath Teas that are a must try?

Let me know in the comments...

Dr. Teals Activated Charcoal and Hawaiian Black Lava Salt Epsom Salt Review

I went out over the weekend and had the BEST time ever. I really did. But now my whole body hurts. I feel like I've been in the gym lifting houses and doing a billion squats. I guess I was dancing extra hard. So I've been trying to do anything to make my muscles feel better. Including using Epson Salt baths.

Dr. Teals claims:
Discover the amazing benefits of Dr Teal's whole body soaks. Dr Teal's Activated Charcoal and Hawaiian Black Lava Salt Soaking Solution combines pure Epsom salt that are gently fragranced with Juniper and Grapefruit. Activated charcoal and black lava salt cleanse and help renew skin. Simply add it to your bath or spa and enjoy instant comfort and soothing relief of everyday aches and muscle pains.

Dr. Teals Dr Teal's 3lb Charcoal Epsom Salt

  • Activated charcoal and black lava salt cleanse and help renew skin.
  • Pure Epsom Salt eases aches and soreness from muscle pains.
  • Gently fragranced with Juniper and Grapefruit essential oils.

I've seen these for years but for some reason never picked one up. I needed a break from buying the Zum soaks because those can get expensive after awhile. Especially since they aren't readily available in my area. So I bought this for $5. Can't beat it!

You get about 3 pounds. Which I've used about three times and I still have enough for almost one more bath.

The first thing I noticed was how strong it its. For some reason I thought it was just scented with essential oils but it's definitely not. The scent is super strong and I'm not really a fan. I've been getting used to it, but the first bath I took with it instead of relaxing I just kept thinking of how strong the scent was and how I wish it wasn't as strong. Especially since I don't actually like the scent.

I did feel energized the next day. And my muscles felt better as well. I just wish it was more immediate.

I just took a bath with it this A.M and fell asleep and I feel marginally better. I'm hoping by tomorrow morning I'm doing a lot better.

It has great ingredients-except the excessive fragrance. It just doesn't have much charcoal or salt so I'm going to say they really don't do much for your skin.

Ingredients:
Epson Salt, Sea Salt, Activated Charcoal Powder, Fragrance, Juniper Oil, Grapefruit Oil.

In conclusion I wouldn't buy this one again because I don't like the scent. I also don't really think the activated charcoal and Hawaiian Lava Salt add much to the bath experience.

Have you tried this brand of bath salts? Do you like Epsom salts? What's your favorite sore muscle cure?

Zum Tub Lavender Bath Salts Review

I'm so glad they sell these on Amazon. I'm determined to try them all but I don't want to pay a ton for shipping. I found them locally when I lived in Maryland for about $10. But you can order them from Amazon for $12. Which is pricier, but it's "free shipping".

Zum claims:
  • Salt your rim and take a dip in this moisturizing drink. Zum Tub's shea butter infusion transforms a mix of sea salt crystals and Epsom salts into a submersible bathrodisiac. Your skin goes glug glug and your mind goes unplugged.
  • The sweet, floral Lavender is best known for reducing stress and relaxing the mind and body.

Lavender is always the scent I tend to skip. I don't know what it is. I guess I just think it's a boring scent and there's always something more exciting to try first. Also, Lavender is a scent that some companies get super wrong because they use synthetic lavender. Not Zum. This smells like lavender essential oil and nothing else. I've come to really start liking lavender. It really is a soothing, relaxing, calming scent. However, it doesn't really help me sleep so although it says "snooze", I wouldn't say I can use it and go to sleep. However, I don't doubt some people can.

I get three-four bath out of a jar. Meaning each bath is kind of pricey. Not as pricey as a Lush bath though! The lavender is pretty subtle, of course you can make it stronger by using more. There are a couple of Lavender buds in the mix. Not a lot though. I barely noticed them in the tub. Which is probably good because if there were a lot if would probably stop up the tub.

My skin feels soft and hydrated after using these salts. No lotion for me.

Ingredients:
  • Made with sea salt, epsom salt, pure essential oils, meadow foam seed oil, rosemary oleo and herbs

Overall, if you like Lavender bath products-this is not a bad one to try. It's all natural too. BUT I feel like making your own with some Epsom Salts and Lavender oil is much more cost effective in the long run for such a simple scent like Lavender. You can even throw in your own Lavender Buds!

Zum Tub Frankincense and Myrrh Bath Salts Review

One of my favorite things to do is take baths. I could sit in the bathtub for hours. Maybe it has something to do with me being an Aquarius, which is the water sign. Maybe not. Anyway, I've tried two bath products from this brand previously and loved them, so I thought I would continue trying them out. This time...the Frankincense and Myrrh.

Zum claims:
Salt your rim and take a dip in this moisturizing drink. Zum Tub's shea butter infusion transforms a mix of sea salt crystals and Epsom salts into a submersible bathrodisiac. Your skin goes glug glug and your mind goes unplugged.

I've tried the soap and the massage oil in the same scent previously. I believe it has healing properties. Frankincense and Myrrh were two of the gifts that the wise men brought Jesus in the bible and I did a little research on some of the things it helps with. It's supposed to be great for the skin and it's a pretty calming, relaxing scent. This particular one kind of reminds me of the Avon Skin So Soft oil every one in the south seems to own and use to keep those mosquitos from eating you up. I don't like that, but I do like this.

It doesn't have anything fancy in it, like the other one I tried had little flowers. And I don't like that they don't tell you how much you are supposed to use. I'm pretty sure I use way too much as a result. I think I used about 1/3 each time. But I was using a pretty big bathtub too.

It's super relaxing, calming, and softening. And the scent really sticks to you. Which is one of my favorite things about it. A lot of bath products you get out and the scent just dissipates to nothing. Not this.

All natural ingredients, how I like it!

Ingredients:
sea salt, Epsom salt, essential oils, fragrance oil, meadowfoam seed oil, rosemary oleo, and herbs.

I do really like it. And if you are a fan of Frankincense and Myrrh I would recommend trying it. I think I would prefer the Dragon's Blood or the Patchouli Ylang Ylang over this though.

Random:
This video is so hilarious to me I had to share. Poor Terry.

Lavender Bath Tea: Best Lavender Bath Ever!

I love, love, love bath stuff. For awhile I was into Bath Bombs (from Lush), tried a couple of bubble bars, lately I've really been into bath salts. But what about bath tea?  I've heard of it, but quickly dismissed it. It sounds extra boring. How can a couple of dried flowers scent up a whole bathtub of water?

I kind of stumbled on it accidentally. I ordered a bunch of dried Lavender on Amazon. I had wanted it for months. For what? I have no idea. I tried making some Lavender Tea. Some Lavender lemonade. I stopped using it as a flavor, only because I wasn't sure if it was actually food grade.

It sure does smell good though. And I want to use it for something rather than just opening up the bag every now and again. I've heard you can make Lavender pillows out of it. Which sounds like an amazing thing to make. And one day I just might.

Anyway, one day I was lost in the wonderful world of youtube when I stumbled on a couple vids for making your own bath salts. The next video was DIY bath tea. The video had a bunch of ingredients I don't have, and don't feel like purchasing. So I decided to just use plain old Lavender.

I put a TON in a sachet. Maybe about two cups. I ran it under the water...then threw the whole thing in the bath, making sure to squeeze it periodically  to get all the heavenly scented Lavender  scent out. It actually made the whole bathroom smell wonderful. Who knew?

And then I went to bath heaven. I seriously did not not want to get out. I kept running more hot water to stay in longer.

I think it was one of these best baths I've ever taken. I think next time I might try and add some oatmeal that's been run through the blender next time.

In the meantime I've been hanging the little sachet to dry. It still smells amazing. I don't think it will yield a whole other bath-but I might try it anyway.

Have you ever taken a "bath tea" bath?

Zum Tub Dragon's Blood Shea Butter Bath Salts Review

Happy Sunday! I think Sunday is my favorite day of the week..because Game of Thrones. As soon as Friday comes I'm like OK. Just gotta get through to Sunday at 9pm. I don't think I've ever watched a show that makes me feel as anxious as Game of Thrones. And I'm happy I have it on HBO Go, because I pause it and shout at the TV, sometimes turn off the TV completely and say I can't possible finish the episode.... but I can't really not watch it either. So it's usually right back on in a couple seconds. I can't wait for tonights episode. I really can't. I watched last Sundays episode twice...back to back. So yeah...I'm just biding my time. And blogging in the meantime. And speaking of Game of Thrones...dragons were definitely the star of the show last week. So dragon's blood bath salt review? I'm reaching..but whatever.

Zum Bar claims:
  • A steaming bath doesn’t extinguish this dragon’s flame. Dracaena-infused natural bath salts submerge dry skin and stress. You emerge a new you.
    • 100% pure essential oils
    • All-natural ingredients

    • It's been awhile since I've reviewed anything bath related it.Remember when I was all heavy into Lush Bath Bombs? Then all the sudden I was over them. Anyway, this was a copycat purchase. I didn't even really consider buying it until I saw my sister buy it as a gift. Then I got curious. What's...Dragon's Blood? I originally thought it was a mix of essential oils. Or at least I read that somewhere. But dragon's blood is a resin much like frankincense and myrrh.
 The way the resin looks...

Anyway, I picked this up at Wegmans for $7.99. A lot of the reason I skipped it was because I didn't know how many baths you could get out of it. I wanted something that I didn't use up in two baths. Or one time like Lush. This says you get 8-10 baths. That's alright with me.

So the first two times I used it I was pretty disappointed. I used a little over the recommended 2 tablespoons and I could smell the scent, but it was too light. The last time I used it I used closer to double the amount if not a little more. And I was much happier. I could smell it! And it smells pretty good. And sticks to your skin.

As for the scent, it's really relaxing. It smells ...exotic. Almost peppery and powdery. It's really hard to describe. But I do really like it.

It was relaxing. It left my skin hydrating. And if it's not just my imagination I really think it helped with some of the muscle pain I had from working out.

Almost forgot the packaging. I've never had bath salts come in a shaker type packaging. But it's cute.  And actually really practical. Just be careful of getting it wet. I don't think that would be good for the salts!

Overall, I am happy with the purchase...as long as I remember to use more than the recommended amount. I'm even happy with how many baths I get out of it. Much better than the amount I would get from Lush bath bombs.

Another thing...I love that I can recognize all the ingredients. And I love that's it's made in the USA.

Zum Bar for the win! Now I think I need to get my hands on the Dragon's Blood Oil body oil. I still have the frankincense one that I've been hoarding. If I ever finish it up I will definitely be getting that!
