ORS Replenishing Pak: Bottle Vs. Packet
I recently reviewed this in the bottle but I had to try it in the pak. You know how some people say the packet is better than the bottle and vice versa.
The only difference I found was in the ingredients. The order was off a little bit but mostly the same. The bottle runs about 57 cents an ounce (based on $6.99 price) and the packet was about 83 cents (based on $1.45 pricing). If this is a staple I would highly recommend purchasing the bottle to save a little money.
The consistency was the same and I got the same mediocre results from both. They just didn't work so great for my hair. If you want to test it out the little packet is not a bad idea. You get enough to use once or twice based on the length of your hair. It isn't the thickest creamiest stuff. I don't like it because it doesn't coat my hair. It disappears into my hair as if I hadn't put anything in in the first place.
Bottle Ingredients:
Water (Aqua) , Soybean Oil (Glycine Soja) , Glycerine , Olive Oil (Olea Europaea) , Hydrolyzed Collagen , Quaternium-80 , Orange Oil (Citrus Aupantium Dulcis), Polyquaternium-37 , Propylene Glycol Dicarpylate, PPg-Trideceth 6, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Silk Amino Silk Acids, PEG 9 Dimethicone, Chamomile Extract (Anthemis Nobilis) , Sage Extract (Salvia Officinalis) , Nettle Extract (Urtica Dioica) , Rosemary Extract (Rosmarinus Officinalis) , Aloe Vera Gel (Aloe Barbedensis) ,Yarrow Extract (Achilea Millefolium) , Kiwi Extract (Actinidia Chinensis) , Dimethicone, Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans , EDTA, Triethanolamine,DMDM Hydantoin , Methylchlorothiazolinone,Methylisothiazolinone, CI Yellow No. 6 15985) , Yellow No. 5 (CI 19140)
Pak Ingredients:
Water (Aqua) , Soybean Oil (Glycine Soja) , Glycerine , Olive Oil (Olea Europaea) , Hydrolyzed Collagen , Quaternium-80 , DMDM Hydantoin , Amino Silk Acid , Dimethicone Copolyol , Orange Oil (Citrus Aupantium Dulcis) , D'Limonene , Panthenol (Vitamin B5) , Dimethicone , EDTA , Chamomile Extract (Anthemis Nobilis) , Sage Extract (Salvia Officinalis) , Nettle Extract (Urtica Dioica) , Rosemary Extract (Rosmarinus Officinalis) , Aloe Vera Gel (Aloe Barbedensis) , Yarrow Extract (Achilea Millefolium) , Kiwi Extract (Actinidia Chinensis) , Polyquaternium-37 , Trideceth-7 , Triethanolamine , Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans , Methylchlorosothiazolinone , Methylchlorothiazolinone , Yellow No. 6 (CI 15985) , Yellow No. 5 (CI 19140)
Basically the same ingredients just a different order.
So if you are a fan these basically work the same and you can just go ahead and save money by purchasing the big bottle.
