I Heart Perfume TAG!!

I got one of THE best compliments last Friday. I was getting a drink, and a guy that I work with asked me what perfume I was wearing. But I wasn't wearing any. You should have seen his face when he said that. All I can say is that it must have been my hair...or the lotion I used which was The Body Shop Vanilla Body Butter. I'm not really sure. Maybe it was a combo of both. 

Anywho, best compliment I have ever received.

But let me stop rambling and continue the post.

What was the first perfume you ever purchased?

Hmm. That's a difficult one. I never actually purchased any perfume until...well I'm not sure. But perfume is always something that I just received as a gift. I think the first one I ever purchased was Gucci Envy Me. I loved that scent in the store but not when I got it home.

What's your signature scent?

Another difficult one. I don't have a signature. I tend to use one at a time then never buy it again.

But I guess Black Amethyst from Bath and Body Works and the Vanilla perfume from the Body Shop.

What is your most recent purchase? 

My most recent purchase is not recent. BUT I did got Vera Wang Preppy Princess for Christmas. The jury is still out on what I think about it.

What perfume would you wear at night/date night? 

That's easy! Bath and Body Work's Black Amethyst. It just smells mysteriously SEXY. Not to mention guys really seemed to love it on me.  I had one guy I used to talk to constantly asking me what I had on.

What is your favorite spring/summer scent? 

My favorite spring/summer scent would have to be The Body Shop's Love Etc. I'm not a big fan of fruity or floral scents but this just rocked my world. I think because it was balanced out with a touch of vanilla. Yum.

What is you favorite fall/winter scent? 

The Body Shop Vanilla. Hands down. It's so warm and comforting. I have it on right now!!  I'll take the perfume oil or the body spritz.

What is your favorite scent category? 

I don't know!! The only ones I can recognize straight off are floral and fruity. The rest confuse me.(I get confused easy, don't laugh!)  But I like warm, mysterious, scents. And foody scents also. Maybe that qualifies as gourmand?

What perfume are you currently lusting after?

 Oooh. What perfume do I lust after? Hmmm.This is gonna sound silly but I don't know the name. All I know is that I was out shopping with my family and me and my mom tested a scent that had Victoria Beckham on it. It smelled so good. I looked for it a few time after but I guess it sold out. If I could just run into it again! Another one I really want is Donna Karan Cashmere Mist. Mmmm.

What fragrance/cologne do you like on your significant other?

I don't have a significant other. And now that I think about it, I've never dated a man that wore a scent that just drove me crazy.  I have, however, come across some men that smell so amazing I wanted to stop what I was doing and just follow them around. Other than that I don't have any specific men scents that I love. I just know I don't love Axe. It seems every man smells like that stuff!

And that's all. 

I really need to step my scent game up as you can tell! I also need to take a perfume smelling class. (Instead of wine tasting!)
