My First Trip To Lush

I finally made it to Lush (aka Heaven on Earth.)

I found out there was one only thirty minutes from me in Saarbrucken. So one Saturday that's where I went. I was supposed to go out later on that night (which would have been BIG fun but I ended up not feeling to well.)

It was still a good day.

It took us a minute to find the actual store. It's a cute little store and it smells really nice (although strong!)

What I liked the most was the customer service. The ladies that worked in that shop were so nice and helpful! I haven't experienced customer service that great in a long time! Good job Lush.

Anyway, as excited as I was to be there...once there I kind of got overwhelmed. They had so many tempting things packed on the shelved. I just wanted to try it all. One thing I noticed was that I couldn't really smell anything in there...I almost was beginning to think the stuff was unscented. But when I left everything had a smell again! The soap display was a little different then I thought it was going to look. But you just pick the soap and ask for a piece.

Since I was so overwhelmed I didn't get what I wanted but that's OK. I made a list for next time. I probably won't be going until closer to the summer.

But here's what I did get:

Figs and Leaves 

Smells very earthy but I like it. I was a little surprised to see the little bits in there that are fig seeds.

Can't wait tot use it!

Sultana:

I didn't like the scent in the store but now about a day later it smells really really nice. Fruity and floral at the same time..and I'm not usually a fan of either.

Karma (sample)

They give really nice samples. Like I said they are amazing in there!! I'm going to go back and get 130 grams of this the next time I go. I LOVE the scent. It smells...intoxicating...and expensive. 

Willow (Sample)

I don't like the scent of roses but since it was limited edition I figured I should get a sample. It smells like Dr. Bronner's Castile Hemp Rose soap. But it may smell different when I use it. Again, a generous sample! The china pattern in the store is very pretty though...

Sex Bomb

OK, I HAD to get this. I really wanted to try the flower thingamabobbers. I don't necessarily love the scent but I'm hoping it turns into something magical in the tub!!

Honey Bee

So I wasn't going to get this but it smells so good!!

 It smells like  Honey I Washed the Kids soap (which I haven't tried but have sitting in my drawer!!!)

I can't wait to use this one!
