Before I recieved this, I was just using plain old Shea Butter. But it's good to switch is up every now and then. So I was happy to receive it.
You get four ounces of product which is good if your only using it on your face. If you use it one your body...that can be quite expensive because it costs $9.95. But like I said if you just use it on your face a little bit goes a long long way. I've been using if for about a month and have barely used any.
The texture of it is smooth and really light. Which is perfect for my combination/oily skin. It goes on rather nicely and doesn't create shine on my face. (which is a good thing!)
It smells like lemongrass. Kind of reminds me of Carol's Daughter Hair Milk. But the scent is light and doesn't really stick around.
I didn't notice that it prevents acne but I did find that if I put a lot on a breakout before bed they were almost dried up by morning!!!
Another thing I noticed is that it seems to be helping to even out my skin-tone.
Now the most impressive thing about this is it's ingredient list. It's mostly natural except for a few preservatives, which is what I like to see. I love that Green Tea Extract is the second ingredient and I love that it has Tea Tree which good for acne and naturally anti-bacterial.
Ingredients:
Aqua (Distilled Water), Camellia Sinensis Leaf (Green Tea Extract), Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose Oil), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Oil), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Oil), Emulsifying Wax N, Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed oil), Vegetable Glycerin USP, Melaleuca Alternifolia, (Tea Tree Oil), Citric Acid, Lemon Essential Oil, Orange Essential Oil, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Phenoxyethanol and Caprylyl Glycol (mild preservatives)
Overall, I really like it! And I do recommend it especially if you have acne-prone, combination oily skin!!
