Yankee Candle Beachwood Tart

This one sat in my stash forever beforeI ventured to let burn it. I honestly wish I would have left it in the basket.

Yankee Candle:
Seasoned by the elements. . . this modern blend of vetiver, salt air and driftwood creates an intriguing fragrance

This reminded me of Mountain Lodge. They have something in them that just smells...well revolting to me.  I suspect it's the driftwood. I've never been tempted to smell it...I doubt it smells good. And I'm not a big fan of "salt" smells either.

I had high hopes for this though because I loved the picture and tend to like beach scents. This isn't really a beach scent though..more like a beach cabin.

Luckily it wasn't overly strong and the scent went away rather quick.

Honestly, not my thing but if you liked Mountain Lodge I suggest giving it a try. Otherwise...steer clear!!
