My family went back to the states for the next couple of weeks so I'll have the house all to myself. I've been trying to figure out what I'm going to do. Maybe start another season of American Horror Story because I love watching scary shows/movies when I'm in the house alone. Makes it scarier and I love being scared. I'll definitely be blasting music. I just gotta figure out what I'm doing for Thanksgiving. I've been thinking I'll get some King Crab legs and go to town since there's no way I'm making Turkey. Or maybe some really nice steaks. I have time to figure it out though.
Anyway...Geranium soap.
Zum claims:
Geranium might seem like the sweetest thing since kittens, but it knows how to get down on dirty skin with crisp, floral notes.
Geranium oil has a multitude of uses. My sister bought me an essential oil book for Christmas one year and I looked up the oil...it had so much information and blends and things you can use it for. I've had Geranium essential oil in my collection for a long time. It was familiar to me because a couple years back I had a bath bomb from Lush that smelled almost identical to it except with notes of lemon. Geranium oil smells like rose oil...but not quite real rose oil. Like fake, cheap rose oil. But the soap scent is so faint you really don't pick up on much of anything. Especially in the shower. Maybe it's a good thing because I don't really like Geranium anyway. But then again if I buy a soap called Geranium, I do expect it to smell like Geranium.
The lather (as with all Zum soaps) is nice, thick, and rich. Rinses easily and cleanly.
But it's super drying. I don't know if it's more drying than usual because of the weather, but I'm not a fan.
It is a really pretty looking soap though. How many soaps have you seen that have different pretty blobs of color? Not many.
As always, they are super vague with the ingredients.
Saponified 100% food grade olive, coconut, palm & castor oils, in a goat's milk base, with essential oils and mineral pigments. Enjoy!
Overall, not impressed at all. Wouldn't buy again. Wouldn't recommend. And still not a fan of geranium.
