I love Salmon. It is my favorite fish. It can be smoked, pan-fried, baked, in sushi...It really doesn't matter. I love it! Somehow I don't really try new Salmon recipes often so I was really happy to come across this one.
I don't think I've made salmon with a teriyaki flavor. I made the marinade overnight so that way the flavors would come through.
It was really easy....I did spike mine with fresh ginger. The recipe doesn't call for it, but fresh ginger really makes a difference.
The next day it was as simple as dumping it in a baking tray and baking. Oh, and mixing up the sriracha sauce. I made rice, and broccoli as a side. My usual side dish. And served.
It was good. But I feel like there were a couple of tweaks that would have made it a lot better. I like a sticky, more glaze type of sauce as opposed to the one in the recipe which was more gravy like. I also think it was just a tad too sweet. And I thought the salmon could use more color so I felt like it would have been better if I pan fried it and then baked.
It was good though, it just could be better. I did love the sriracha cream sauce, although I didn't like opening a whole can of condensed milk just to use a teaspoon.
