Melba Moore

Quick music post ...today's artist is Melba Moore. I love that name. 

I only have one song by her...I think she is underrated for sure. She has some song mannerisms that I can't quite pin...is it like Patti Labelle? Nancy Wilson? Idk. Well, actually there is a lot of Patti in there. I do like this song though...I think I like it more on the record but it's nice to hear that extra long note live. 

The music video is a little odd because the video shows her life falling apart but the song says her life is finally together.. It's supposed to be autobiographical I think.
