Mario Badescu Facial Stay with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater Review

It's kinda crazy that I bought this spray knowing I have two MAC Fix Plus Sprays and another Lavender spray that I need to use up. Yet I was still bought this. I think I am going to go on a facial spray no-buy. At least until I use up two bottles. Maybe I'll add this to my Project Pan...

Mario Badescu:

Whether you spray it during the day as a moisturizing or a dynamising boost, our cult-suspicious spray mist for the face helps to strengthen dehydrated skin and give it back all its radiance - whenever and wherever you are.

A mixture of aloe vera as well as rose, gardenia and thyme extracts clarifies the complexion and dynamizes the skin to make it shine.

I'm not sure why I bought this. I think I was just trying to make my cart minimum and the coupon code I had made it a deal I can't refuse. I am also a sucker for rosewater sprays...

I didn't read the ingredients on the few things I bought from the line. I thought it was a more natural brand. and was disappointed to find it's not. I really should have read the ingredients first. I mostly just use it to add a boost of hydration when I am in a rush and don't want to apply a heavy moisturizer.

I was expecting this spray to have a nice rose scent. It smells like rose baby wipes. Light on the rose.

It does add a bit of hydration. My skin isn't really dry these days...which is surprising. I used to have dry skin in the winter...but I think since I switched to more natural cleansers  I don't seem have that problem much anymore.

It's easy to use and spray but I think the nozzle on mine only sprays one side....It's not really a fine mist. But it works.

Ingredients:

Aqua (Water, Eau), Propylene Glycol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Rosa Canina Extract, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Leaf Extract, Fucus Vesiculosus Extract, Gardenia Florida Fruit Extract, Caprylyl Glycol, Hexylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Parfum (Fragrance), Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Chloride, Citronellol, Geraniol, CI 17200 (Red 33), CI 42090 (Blue 1)

I wouldn't buy it again. I think Lush makes better and more natural ones. And I also think using pure rosewater is a great option to skip some of the additives and fillers that don't really have any skin benefits. I also just don't think it does anything special to make it a must try or repurchase.
