The Unbrush

Today we have the viral Unbrush to review. I resisted buying this one thinking it was all hype but at the same time, I really wanted to give it a go. I bought a few too many detangling brushes though so I figured I would put this one off and I definitely regret it.

The Unbrush claims:

UNbrush® gently yet thoroughly extracts knots and tangles from even the most unruly hair, painlessly and effortlessly. Featuring the perfect blend of 105 dual length bristles, combined with an ultralight high performance handle, UNbrush® helps reduce styling time and prevents hair from catching. Great for wet or dry hair.

It is pretty expensive for what is essentially a plastic brush that doesn't even feel all that sturdy. I'm not afraid I am going to break it. It's not the fragile.  It just really doesn't feel like the most sturdy brush out there compared other the brushes for the price.

But I love this thing. I thought the tangle teezer was the end all be all detangling brush for me. And while it does a great job, I have to do smaller sections and so it takes longer. This I can get through a larger section of hair relatively gently. My scalp doesn't hurt.  But I don't think it pulls ALL the shed hair so I usually run a tangle teezer through to grab any shed hair that needs to come out.

I love it though! I can detangle my hair in 30-45 minutes which is record breaking and amazing for my hair type. Which is 4c. Easily tangled, knots on itself, easy to get frustrated and just rip out sections. This really cuts down on all that.  So this is basically a miracle product for me.

I love it. Won't be without it. I'm considering ordering a back-up. Just in case they discontinue. I won't because there is still one more detangling product I want to give a go....but not for a few years. I'm actually pretty happy with my array of detangling products and don't feel the need to get more.

I tend to use it with a detangler/conditiioner in my hair while it's wet. I wouldn't even dare to try and detangle while my hair is dry.

I especially like it because it's very easy to clean and get your hair out. The tangle teezer is a little harder to get completely clean.

It's the one I have been grabbing for all my travel- although I rarely detangle when I travel 😁

For me it was worth the hype but if you are happy with what you have-  no need to try this. If you are still searching I would say give this a whirl.
