Switch

 

Got another quick music post today...just from a group called Switch. Very underrated group too. 

I can't even put into words how much I love the intro. I only have one song by them--- but I'm listening to another song randomly and I'm thinking I missed one. I'm just reading that Switch came out prior to Debarge. I always thought they came after? Whoops. 

Anyway, I wish there was a nice quality live clip of this song. I LOVE IT. Especially the intro. Cracks me up everytime. "I Used to Think About Immature Things- you know like Do you love me? Do you want me? Are you gonna call me like you said you would? Is this really your real phone number? But you know, I'm man now baby, a grown man." I can't get enough.  This was back in the day when music was good and men used to beg. 😂

Then we have There'll Never Be. To be honest I just re-downloaded it. I was missing some songs from the Switch playlist. Let's take a moment for that afro. I love it and I want to blow out my hair now.

I don't know what's wrong with me and how I missed this song. I really just need to give all their albums a listen cause how could I miss this? What a lovely performance. And that sax!!  Bobby's falsetto is elite. 

I just fell down a Debarge family rabbit hole but I'm climbing back out. Had no idea of any of the stuff that family has been through...and it is too much for a random Wednesday. 

But anyway, Switch is a really talented group. My kind of music! Worth checking out...
