Can you believe next month is Christmas? This month flew by. I was just looking out my window and I'm already seeing some Christmas lights. Is it too early for the Christmas lights? I guess with the way this year went maybe people need some Holiday Cheer a bit earlier. I can't really talk because I am guilty of ordering my Christmas candle so I can have something to burn on Christmas Eve/Christmas.
In the meantime, I was in my closet looking for something to review. And I came up with these. I was playing with buying an electric razor- but then they have those California Warnings about causing cancer and I always put them right back. I also thought about buying a safety razor to cut down on plastic waste. But then I got overwhelmed trying to pick a brand so I ended up with more Venus. It's widely available and I got sucked in with the metal handle.
I think this particular razor is discontinued. The site is a bit confusing so I can't really tell. Or maybe they just renamed it
It's a refill pack that comes with four cartridges. Each razor has five blades. So you would think you get the smoothest closest shave ever. It's just alright. I don't know if the quality has gone down since I used to get these in high school but I used to get smoother results with razors that only had three blades.
I use mine quite awhile before tossing away. Except one that just broke away and I couldn't re-attach. Wasted my money on that one.
I do have the metal handle which is just like the plastic one.It does have plastic on it. I have never had the plastic ones fall apart- I think I just lost them. But the metal one does feel heavier and like that it will last a long time. I'll update if it doesn't. I'm a little lazy to get up and take a pic so I just took this stock pic from online.
Other than that I don't get nicks, cuts, or an angry reaction of bumps. So I guess it's great in that regard.
I don't think I would buy this again. Although I do think it's been discontinued or renamed so I probably can't. I think I might branch out and try something new next time. It's definitely time.
