Zum Bar Patchouli Goat Milk Soap Reveiw

It's almost Thanksgiving! Which is one of my favorite holidays. I already know and have the ingredients for what I'm making-Pumpkin Maple Pecan Cheesecake. I'm so excited about making it I'm trying not to just go ahead and make it now.

Zum Bar claims:
Old time rock and roll gets a new age twist with piles of patchouli pure essential oil in a deeply earthen, musky scent, with a hint of sweetness.

I'm so happy to be back to all natural soaps. And bar soaps at that! I strongly prefer the bar to liquid. My skin is starting to go back to normal. It was really starting to dry out using the other stuff I was using on it. It wasn't immediate dryness but sort of a gradual drying out of my skin.

I went and hauled a bunch of these soaps. And I really want to try them all but they are so much harder to get a hold of overseas and the shipping prices are high. So I probably won't be trying them all. But for now-the patchouli one!

So these are nice. They lather nicely, clean really well, and my skin is looking really nice and healthy lately.

They are pricey, however. And they don't last long at all. I only get about a week and half before the bar is completely melted. And they are quite expensive at that at about $6 a piece.

This one is patchouli. And it really smells like patchouli. For real. Which I do like the scent of patchouli, but I tend to like it when it's mixed with something. Like citrus or vanilla or something. If you love straight patchouli though- this would be an excellent soap for you.

It sticks to the skin just the teeniest bit and it's a very grounding scent in terms of aromatherapy.

One thing I notice about ZUM is they don't explicitly list ingredients. Which I don't really like. I have no idea what that green flecks are. I suspect Pathcouli but who really knows?

Ingredients:
Saponified 100% food grade olive, coconut, palm & castor oils, in a goat's milk base, with herbs and pure essential oils. Enjoy!

In conclusion, I liked trying it but it's not a must have. But if you are a patchouli lover I would highly recommend it!

Random:
This came on my shuffle in the car the other day and it's the perfect Thanksgiving song. I love it!
