It's been awhile since I've made biscuits. Years actually... so I was pretty happy that this recipe popped up next. Although the title didn't really sound like anything special-what is a bagel biscuit? And even after making the recipe...I still don't know!
It's actually just like a regular biscuit. But I did change the recipe up because I was not going to order the biscuit topping or go looking for buttermilk powder. I decided to just top the biscuits with sesame seeds (too lazy to find the poppy seeds). So I used buttermilk (duh). And I added a little garlic powder....which is the best for savory dinner biscuits.
They came out really good. In fact, I had leftover buttermilk so I made them twice and am pinning the recipe as I will definitely make them again.

To go with it, I made chicken noodle soup. Which I've never actually made. I didn't use a recipe, just made it how I thought it should be made with homemade chicken stock. It came out really good. Which I was happy about because I made a huge pot!
Overall, it was a great cooking day for me!
