Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Cream Review

Last Burt's Bees review for awhile. This is the last thing I have from the Essentials kit I bought. I don't usually use "foot" creams but since it was in the kit, figured I would try it.

Burt's claims:

  • BURT’S BEES HYDRATING FOOT CREAM: Bring the spa to your home with Burt’s Bees coconut foot cream that pampers and soothes dry, neglected feet with a rich, naturally moisturizing formula; Package may vary
  • LOTION FOR DRY SKIN: Rejuvenate the tough skin on your feet with Burt's Bees hydrating coconut oil foot cream formulated without phthalates, parabens, petrolatum, or SLS
  • MOISTURIZING LOTION: Infused with smoothing coconut oil and rosemary extract, Burt’s Bees coconut oil foot cream helps moisturize the dry skin on your feet and heels
  • NATURAL ENRICHED CREAM: Made with 99.4% natural origin, emolliating ingredients such as oat and olive oil, Burt’s Bees coconut foot cream helps restore and refresh the bottom of your feet and heels
  • DAILY MOISTURIZER: Apply Burt’s Bees coconut oil foot cream to keep your feet and heels feeling soft, smooth and sandal-ready year-round as a deeply hydrating foot treatment
  • Pamper and sooth even the driest, most neglected feet with Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Cream. This cream helps prevent and protect dry, cracked and rough skin with deeply penetrating emollient botanical oils. Enriched with a softening blend of super-saturated coconut oil and other natural emollient ingredients. The rosemary and peppermint extracts refresh while coconut oil, lanolin and vegetable glycerin revive and rejuvenate. Apply daily to keep your feet feeling soft and smooth and sandal ready year round.

Mine is the small .75 ounce size but you can buy a full size for eight and some change. Not a bad price at all.

First things first, it's not a cream. It's a balm. So a little goes a long way. It feels kinda greasy but I think that can be a good thing when dealing with dry heels. I think this definitely helps and you can notice a difference in the first application. It even feels kinda nice at first then a few hours later it feels like a weird coating is on my skin. I'm not a fan of that feeling. I don't think it provides real actual moisture,  or I think I might prefer a water based cream over a balm. I kinda feel the same way about their hand balm.

I thought it would smell like Coconuts but nope. It's more vanilla with a very faint peppermint scent.

Ingredients are excellent..99.4% natural. Uses Olive Oil instead of a cheaper oil. I think it might be the large amount of glycerin that I don't like though..

    Ingredients:

Vegetable Glycerin, Olive Oil, Oat Flour, Lanolin, Coconut Oil, Quillaja Extract, Oat Oil, Rosemary Leaf Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Fragrance.

Overall, it's OK. But probably not a repurchase for me. I might try something else...
