Already time for another music post. Today we have a quick one. Sugarhill Gang. The group that created the most important rap song of all time in the very late 70's. Older Hip Hop is my favorite kind of hip hop.
I only have two songs to share. Starting with Rappers Delight. The wikipedia page has a lt of great info about this song if you want to learn more about the history of hip hop. It was a good read for me. This song really is the blueprint for rap. How are the views so low?
Most will know Sugarhill Gang as a one hit wonder. And Nope! That is wrong. We have 8th Wonder. Another heavily sampled bop. This is really the epitome of can't stay in your seat Hip Hop. I love it!
I could listen to these songs on repeat and never get tired of them....
