Botanical Societies Patchouli Essential Oil Review

Patchouli is the oldest oil in my collection and after year and years of having it, I'm finally close to running out. I found mine in TJ Max before I started purchasing most of my oils online. My first experience with Patchouli was the Lush Karma soap. It's one of the best things I've ever smelled so I knew if I didn't like the scent on it's own I could always mix it with something else. Patchouli is widely used in Perfumery and I don't think there's a scent it doesn't go with.

There's not much about this brand anywhere online. And I lost the box a few years back. They don't have an Online Presence. I've only ever seen them in TJ's.

Anyway...I love the stuff. It's one of my favorite oils to diffuse. On it's own or with Blood Orange oil is one of my favorite scents ever.

I've made essential Oil rollerballs with it. Body Oils. You can make bath oil blend. It's great for  this skin.

I don't think it smells the best directly from the bottle. It smells too earthy..but when diffusing it or using it your own DIY's it smells great. It smells best when diluted.

If I could find it again I would buy it. But since I can't, I'm going to try the Patchouli Oil from my go to brand- Plant Therapy and see how I like it (I'm sure it will be great.)

Patchouli Oil is a must have for me....but it is one of the those oils that people either love it or hate. It's definitely one worth sniffing just to see if you do like it though!
