Finally...my very first Lush Massage Bar. I've wanted to try one for years and somehow never picked one up. I've made my own, and tried ones I've come across in the drugstore or health food store. Neither of which I really liked. So I figured I would start with the Soft Coeur. Because it's the smallest.
Lush claims:
For lovers of sweet smells, this massage bar featuring a familiar, comforting toffee fragrance. We added almond oil to our cocoa butter and shea butter massage bar base to allow this bar to melt quickly on the skin. The honey and cocoa centre will leave the skin smelling delicious. Smooth this sweet-smelling massage bar over the body for deliciously-scented and soft skin.
UK 5 Pounds DE 10 Euro US 8.95
When I first unboxed I was a little shocked at how small it was. Especially for the price. I bought this from the DE site so it was ten Euro...while it's only 5 pounds from the UK site. If I ever bought again, I would definitely try to only purchase when ordering from the UK. Or even the US as it's also cheaper there!
It is supposed to be the same smell as the Honey I Washed the Kids soap. And while I love that scent in the soap, it's a little different in the massage bar. I think it's because of the Cocoa Butter. It makes it more chocolatey. So it's a toffee, chocolate scent. And very, very sweet. And sometimes I really like the scent, other times it's just OK.I definitely prefer the scent of the soap.
The good thing, the scent really sticks to your skin.
And makes you soft, soft, soft. Very moisturizing without being greasy, although a bit more work to put on but it can be treat for your skin if you really take the time to massage it in.
Because it's so tiny, I try to limit myself to using it once a week. That way I really stretch out the experience. It doesn't last super long and a little bit does NOT go a long way. At least not for me and the way I use it.
I love the ingredients! Other than a body oil, it's one of the more natural ways to moisturize your skin.
Ingredients:
Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Honey, Cocoa Powder, Perfume, Almond Oil, Glycerin, Sweet Orange Oil, Bergamot Oil, Limonene, Linalool, Amyl Cinnamal, ButylPhenyl Methyl Propional, Citronellal, Geraniol
Overall, I like it. But not at the 10 Euro Price tag. I would only buy this again if I were getting it at the UK price. I still am excited to try the other massage bars though!
