Second to last Christmas Soap. I've gone right through them. Most of the Lush Christmas soaps are really pretty citrusy and this is no exception. You can use it at Christmas and if you don't and like to use your seasonal stuff in their season, you can still use it for the Spring/Summer.
Lush claims:
Ditch the plastic with star fruit extract, mighty lime and bergamot in this Christmas soap. Leaving skin cleansed with a zesty sherbet scent.
This one has been coming out now for a few years now. It looks completely different from when it first came out. I think the purple version with the stars was cuter but I like this and am glad it's not the standard Lush block they have now. It's a star...a shooting star. Kinda awkward shape to use but since it's so cute, I don't mind. It came in two colors...I happened to get the orange/pink one.
The scent is similar to the Baked Alaska soap but different enough. It's more bright and smells like lime. Real lime essential oil. It's a nice scent. Not strong. Doesn't overpower the bathroom after use. Just nice. And a little forgettable.
Lather is nice. Bubbles up quickly, and very pink. Rinses clean and doesn't dry my skin. Cleans...OK.
Completely Plastic Free.Which is nice.
The ingredients are alright. It is the old school Lush soap base with the rapeseed and coconut oil. But then it has something special. Actual Starfruit Extract/puree. That's pretty cool. Not something you see in all or any other soaps.
Ingredients:
Water, Rapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Perfume, Lime Oil, Bergamot Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Starfruit Extract, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Baking Soda, EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Sodium Hydroxide, Synthetic Glitter, Tin Oxide, Citral, Citornellol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour
Eh..it's OK. But not something I would buy again.
