Dove Indulging Cream Bath Soak Review

I feel like I have been blindsided by Winter.  We were just getting weather that was well over the 90's and now it's all rainy and cold. Where is the 72 degree, sunshine weather? I hope it comes back. In the meantime, a quick review before I go into relax mode.

Dove claims:

Dove Indulging Cream Bath Soak gives you a moment of relaxation each day that leaves you with smooth, soft skin.

• Fills your bath with a soft, relaxing fragrance

• The bath soak formula with ¼ moisturising cream helps care for your skin

• A bath cream that gives you soft, smooth, clean skin

The key to beautiful skin is everyday moisture and with the right moisturising bubble bath you can easily make caring for your skin part of your daily routine. Dove Indulging Cream Bath Soak gives you a moment of relaxation each day that leaves you with smooth, soft skin. It's a creamy, relaxing bubble bath, with ¼ moisturising cream, that creates a velvety, rich lather that's especially formulated to help care for your skin as you soak. Using Dove Indulging Cream Bath Soak in your bath is a great way to pamper yourself at home, helping you make those quiet moments an act of beauty for your skin.

Do they sell Dove bubble bath in the US? I have only ever seen it here. This isn't my first Dove bubble bath, I used one years ago...as a shower gel because it was in German and I just assumed it was shower gel and not bubble bath. I didn't like it at all and then later I translated it and figured out why. 😁

I bought this mainly to use up old eyeshadow. I like to take shadows that aren't really working for me- color off, terrible wear time, etc and use it to make a colorful bubble bath. I feel like it gives me a little more joy than just tossing the shadow away. It also adds a little something to otherwise boring bath water.

I expected it to smell like the regular Dove line and it doesn't. It's not a bad scent but I don't really like it. It's an extremely forgettable, clean, floral, sour kind of smell. Not sure how to describe it but doesn't really smell like a Dove scent. It's also extremely forgettable.

It makes decent bubbles that don't really last. And it's drying and makes my skin feel kinda dry and itchy.

It has cheap unexciting ingredients. Nothing I'm thrilled to soak in.

Ingredients:

Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerin, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Acrylates Copolymer, Sodium Benzoate, Parfum, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Glycol Distearate, Glycol Stearate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Linalool.

The only thing I like about it is that the bottle is 100 percent recycled plastic.

Overall, I don't like it. Not even worth the 2 euro and some change I paid for it.
