Quick review because I have a lot to do today. I barely ever buy from Rimmel, I think I had a blush years ago..maybe a few lip liners but mostly avoid them because they used to love using models of color but never having any makeup for people of color. It seems they are trying to change that...I notice a little selection for darker skin tones. Could it still use improvement? Yes!
Rimmel claims:
Unstoppable Volume • Max density brush for dangerously bold lashes • Unstoppable lash volume • Long wear • No smudging • Easy to remove
It's Rimmel London but this mascara is made in the the USA. I didn't check the rest of the products but I do find that interesting.
I like the packaging. It definitely feels like cheaper plastic but for the price and the fact that you are only supposed to keep a mascara at the max six months- that's just fine with me. I love the neon bright color of it though. Makes it easy to find in your makeup bag or among other cosmetics.
The brush is a huge, oversized traditional bristled brush. My favorite. And surprisingly I almost never make a mess with this. So many mascaras will end up on my lid and this never does.
It's a really nice mascara. Gives nice volume and length. Doesn't flake off. It's dark enough...I got it in black but wish I had picked up the extreme black color. It isn't the most extreme mascara look, and I usually get more length than volume but I think it makes a great everyday mascara.
It's easy to wash off and feels conditioning on the lashes. Looking at the ingredients it has beeswax, argan oil, vitamin E, and collagen.
Overall, I think it's a nice mascara. Doesn't photograph well though...
