I don't know much about The Roots except that Jill Scott mentioned them in her song Long Walk. She said "eat some passion fruit and maybe listen to The Roots etc " and ever since then I wanted to listen to them more. I think I did ...but didn't really find enough music I HAD to keep.
I do really like "You Got Me". So that's the song I'm sharing today.
Makes me want to listen to their catalogue again- I must have missed something.
Anyone have any favorite songs by them I need to check out?
