Eden's Garden Nutmeg Oil Essential Oil Review

I have a long list of things I need to get done today: Cardio Boxing workout, baking a cake, two blog posts, a bit of cleaning, and a few other odds and ends. Starting with the first post. I have been digging through my huge collection of oils and trying to pick ones to use up. I've had this for awhile so decided to make it a focus to use up.  I'm not really sure why I decided to pick this one up...other than I love baking with nutmeg. I do know it's one of the oils you have to be careful with though because I read eating too much Nutmeg can cause hallucinations, confusion, drowsiness, and incoherent speech. I don't see any warnings for the oil...but I like to be careful with it anyway.

Eden's Garden claims:

Myristica Fragrans

Discover the warmth and spice of Nutmeg in a whole new way with Edens Garden's Nutmeg essential oil. This aromatic treasure, steam distilled from seeds grown in the lush Indonesian landscape, carries with it the essence of fall coziness and wintry comfort all year round. Its spicy and woody fragrance enriches any room with the same heartwarming aroma one would find when baking with the familiar spice. But beyond its delightful aroma, Nutmeg essential oil is a wellness powerhouse, offering more than just olfactory bliss.

Nutmeg oil is not only a favorite for its rich scent profile, but it's also sought after for its wellness benefits. It’s like having a personal wellness advocate in a bottle—one that supports your journey toward a balanced mind and body. Integrate Nutmeg oil into your daily routine by massaging diluted drops into sore muscles for a soothing experience, or diffuse it during meditation for an enhanced sense of tranquility and focus.

At Edens Garden, we take pride in ensuring each drop of Nutmeg essential oil is as pure as nature intended. Responsibly sourced and offered at a value that promotes both affordability and quality, our oil invites you to indulge in nature's gifts without compromise. So why not elevate your wellness repertoire today? A dash of Nutmeg may be all you need to transform your space into a sanctuary of serenity. Indulge in the aromatic richness and join a community embracing natural, plant-based living with every breath.

It smells exactly like Nutmeg. I don't have too many uses for it, so I only diffused it rarely. It doesn't have a strong scent unless you use a good bit of it in a diffuser. I know it does have calming and relaxing properties and is said to be really good for your digestive system.

It's supposed to help with Insomnia. I have been using it more lately and have been a lot sleepier than usual. One day this week I definitely fell right to sleep on the couch which is not normal for me.

I haven't had any stomach issues to test if Nutmeg does help with that. But I wouldn't doubt it.

It's supposed to be great for aches and pains as well, arthritis pain in particular. All my joints and muscles (except the same old ankle trouble I have had for the past couple years) so I haven't been able to test that either.

I did recently make a small bottle of "massage oil" with the diluted oil. You have to really dilute nutmeg oil...so the oil doesn't smell much like Nutmeg.

I do love using it as a room spray. I put a few drops in alcohol and then top off with some water and spray all around my space. Makes the place smell spicy and warm. All cozy and fall like. I do really enjoy it that way. I probably should have broken out some of my more fall essential oils to blend it with like Cardamom and Ginger but I didn't feel like digging through all my collection. I bet I could have made a really nice blend though if I hadn't been so lazy.

I do really like the oil--- but it's not an immediate repurchase for me but something I might pick up later on. For now I'm glad I have used up yet another bottle in my collection.
