Through the years I've tried a good amount of Lavender scented goodies. I figured it's time to compile a list of my favorites. When I first started blogging, I wasn't a fan of Lavender. I thought it smelled horrible. I think the problem was I was mostly using synthetic Lavender stuff, which makes a huge difference.
The smell of Lavender is very beneficial in that it can calm anxious feelings, helps to assist in relaxation and calming, it's great for skin, etc.
So here are my favorites in no particular order:
1. Lavender Essential Oil- There are so many things you can do with it. You can make your own bath salts, body butters, use it for diffusion, the list is endless. Lavender Essential goes far as you only need a few drops, and because of that I find it the most cost effective way to enjoy the scent of Lavender. A few brands I've tried and like are Plant Therapy Lavender Essential Oil, Tisserand Lavender Essential Oil, and Verditas Botanicals Organic French Lavender Essential Oil.
2. Zum Tub Lavender Bath Salts- I don't think I've tried very many Lavender bath products...and really they are so easy to DIY. If that's not your thing, these salts smell authentically Lavender. They can be expensive in the long run...but they deserve a spot on this post.
3. Biggs and Featherbelle Mama Bar- I've tried a ton of Lavender soaps. And this one is my favorite. You can actually smell the Lavender...and it's a true Lavender scent.All natural ingredients is a bonus. Also I got a great price on it as I bought it from the Bulk Section!
Runner Up Soap- Schmidt's Lavender Sage Soap
4. Out of Africa Lavender Shea Butter Body Oil- I still have a little less than half of the bottle left for this oil and the more I use it, the more I love it. It has my favorite- Shea Butter! I find it best to use on damp skin. If you love Lavender, definitely check this out!
Runner Up- Weleda Lavender Body Oil
5.Yankee Candle Lavender Vanilla - This combination of Lavender and Vanilla is so good. It just smells so sweet and great! The BBW was good but more artificial and cologne like.
Runner Up: Bath and Body Works Lavender Vanilla Candle
6. Dr. Bronners Lavender Hand Sanitizer- Best hand sanitizer ever. Whenever I would use it, people would always ask what I was using. I can't find it here, but definitely give it a try if you can!
7. Alaffia Everyday Coconut Face Wash- I know, Lavender isn't advertised front and center but it's scented with Lavender Essential Oil and I loved using it. Worth Trying for sure.
8. Deep Steep Lavender Vanilla Scrub- They make some of my favorite scrubs and this scent was to die for! A treat for dry skin.
9. Lush Twilight Bath Bomb- It's been awhile since I've bought anything from Lush. Their stuff is pricey, especially the bath bombs when you consider you can only really us them once. However, sometimes you gotta treat yourself. This is a nice Lavender-y bath bomb to do that.
10. Liberte French Lavender Yogurt- Maybe not what you would expect on a countdown- BUT yogurt is good for you. And this Lavender yogurt was the bomb....so I'm gonna put it on this list anyway.
And that's everything Lavender. It just so happened to work out that there were exactly 10!
